the meaning of mess

Here's a few pics of a old little cabinet we have had for years that I fully intended to paint, perfectly, and neatly, and those pencil outlines would cease to exist, buried under nice and neat. But the truth is I like it as it is. I think mostly because it reminds me on a daily basis that making mess, and not worrying about the outcome is the most fun.
