We both worked through the weekend, as we did last weekend, and will this weekend. We have a deadline due this Friday for Earth Greetings which is exciting. The starting point of these designs is in the subject matter - native birds, and plants. Below is a little selection of some of the plants we have been working from. Jason and I both work in a very traditional style - we like that three dimensional reference. And it's amazing what you really see when you really look.

Beautiful. Are these all from your garden? Such a serene collection.
You're right! They are totally exquisite. Good luck! :) Kx
Hi Jen, some are from our garden. We have quite a few native plants, and some were found on our walk in the wild bush just a block behind our place... it's a mix of things, quite often found on the ground, waiting for a little attention. :) xo K
thanks Kylie - it's challenging, but so rewarding. In so many ways, not just the art work side. That's the end result essentially, but it's that learning aspect we love very much. xo K
I love nature, it's a great design instructor, don't you think!? All it takes is a little closer look x
Great subject matter... can't wait to see the designs and finished products.

Thanks heaps everyone - nature is such a huge inspiration, and it's not just the creative side that benefits, but overall, in a bigger life sense. So nice to have all these amazing plants here to enjoy! :) K
