Aerial - abstract modern print

I really suck at talking about new work. Truth is, I don't much like talking about it, preferring instead that people engage with it in their own personal way. I will say that this new piece "Aerial" was a blast to work on, and the inspiration was architecture, and form.  The name came about while we sat and looked at the work, and realised it could be an aerial view of a city block, a suburban backyard, a country town, mountains, the sea -- the world in miniature! Now available in our shop  in super easy-frame size of  8 x 10 inches.

  1. It's wonderful. At first glance, I thought it was a sewing machine, but I've been browsing new patterns, so perhaps that's why.

I understand about not "being good" at talking about new work, you want it to speak for yourself. Whenever I paint, I just want to say, "Here's my new painting." And that is all.

  4. I totally relate. One of the hardest part of selling work is the talking aspect. It seems sooo personal and also so very very ephemeral. Sometimes it just is. I love how your work is changing, evolving. So interesting. Keep going!
