donkey days

Here's a new illustration - the first inaluxe (not yet finished) donkey. Still needs some detailed little brush work here and there, but, by and large - mostly done. This is also the first collaborative piece between Jason and myself, and our donkey is all about festive fun, holidays and good times! More on donkey and us soon.   Have a great weekend!

donkeys are the new owls you know. (or so the rumour goes).
never did like owls.
but loving your bi-donkey.
did one of you do the front half and the other the back half?
A la the pantomine horse?

hee hee. Just amusing myself here on a saturday night when I should be sewing triangles.

Thanks for the lovely words everyone. that's so ace! It was fun working on it together. Jason drew out the donkey in pencil, and then I painted him up in gouache, but Carmel I love your idea of doing half each. I think there's something in that - and loads of fun to be sure! xo K
